With its vibrant orange hue, firm texture, and a mild flavor, this fresh frozen Coho Portion is primed for your culinary expertise. Coho salmon is more forgiving to cook to perfection, thanks to its slightly higher fat content compared to sockeye. Its milder flavor and succulent texture are sure to make it a favorite.  Each portion averages 6 ounces and is completely boneless*, making them an ideal serving size. For optimal flavor and moisture, we suggest cooking to an internal temperature of 125°F.

Note: To ensure premium quality, we meticulously hand-dissect whole fillets around the pin bones, rendering these portions boneless*. Fresh salmon have particularly tenacious pin bones, and most mechanical deboning methods compromise the quality by either mashing the fresh fillet or requiring thawing and refreezing to facilitate bone removal. We have opted again to go the extra mile for quality and are thrilled to share it with you!

*”Completely boneless” indicates that every effort and precaution has been taken to remove all bones. However, there remains a risk that a bone or bone fragment may still be present, and we ask that you exercise caution.
