Rook Design Media has been a labor of love since its inception in 1995 by Howard Elliott, a creative visionary hailing from Lethbridge, AB. Howard’s journey began with a passion for design and printing, but he found himself drawn to the craft of carpentry, eventually becoming a journeyman carpenter. However, destiny had other plans when Howard relocated to the picturesque Creston Valley nearly 15 years ago. Captivated by the beauty of the valley and the vibrant community spirit, Howard reignited his passion for design and signage.
The Growth of Rook
What started as a signage business soon evolved into a full-scale printing enterprise, driven by the burgeoning demands of the Creston Valley community. As Howard honed his craft, he expanded his repertoire to encompass labels, vehicle graphics, and website development, responding to the diverse needs of his clientele. Fuelled by creativity and a penchant for innovation, Howard continued to diversify Rook Design Media’s offerings, introducing services such as paint protection film, 3D printing, neon signage, and custom pylon installations
